BSNL must be bigger than any individual.
A national public-sector institution cannot allow temporary arrangements to overshadow the importance of regular institutional leadership.
The principle is simple:
Rules must prevail over individual notions. Institutional mechanisms must prevail over individual preferences.
The organisation must prevail over individuals.
BSNL needs a Regularly Selected CMD who can provide stability, accountability and a predictable decision-making framework.
This is not about an individual.
It is about protecting the institution of BSNL.
NO MORE EXTENSION TO THE CURRENT CMD.
APPOINT A REGULAR NEW CMD FOR BSNL.
