🚨Polymarket is forcing hack victims to sign an NDA to receive their refunds !
The terms are insane:
- Full KYC (on a crypto platform)
- *AGREE TO NO PUBLICLY CRITICIZE POLYMARKET*
- Waive known AND unknown claims from the incident.
- Keep the settlement terms confidential
The gag clause is crazy.
It covers all statements "creating a negative, critical, or unfavorable impression,” including on social media.
Polymarket is essentially asking users to dox and silence themselves if they want any refunds for the hack THEY are responsible for.
Thanks to @TheNotoriousSKi for leaking the terms despite the NDA.
What about just owning up to the mistake and replenishing affected wallets ?

Our MPC code is battle-tested and offers a large range of protocols and primitives, including but not limited to:

Good to see Google now also working on an MPC solution.
We've used it in production for years and open-sourced our production-derived MPC library in 2025 for others to use for their custody.
That MPC underpins key management for customer assets across the platform, including >80% of U.S. spot crypto ETF assets, and the hundreds of billions in assets that Coinbase Custodies.
Deposit Addresses aren’t new but ours are safer and truly permanent!
most Deposit Addresses are just EOAs controlled by a centralized backend.
in mayan each DA is a smart contract that validates the route onchain and only lets funds go to the designated wallet on the destination chain

This is wild.
Abstract is forcing users who want to migrate funds to agree to terms of service that prevent them from being part of a class action lawsuit.
Users have the option to email within 30 days of acceptance but they have 100% buried this hoping people don’t notice

They invent these fucking galaxy brain thought experiments and then it's actually that they don't do basic network security
OpenAI's Noam Brown says air-gapping the computers may not stop a misaligned AI, because two air-gapped machines can still talk by running a CPU hot and reading the temperature change
"But I think the major takeaway from the incident is that people underestimated the AI. And we never want to be in a situation again where we underestimate the AI. It's a weird world, because AI progress is so fast that people are consistently underestimating the AI."
"So to be in a situation where you don't underestimate it again, when it comes to safety and alignment, you have to have a very, very, very high bar."
"You could even go as far as to say, "Well, we should air gap the computers." And I'm not convinced that that would be sufficient."
"There are studies, and this is mostly academic, where you can have two computers next to each other that are air-gapped and they're still able to communicate with each other because they have temperature sensors."
"One of them is able to run their CPU really hot, and then the other one can actually detect the temperature change, and then that actually gives them a mechanism to communicate."

myan is another really solid bridge.
i've mostly been using it through jumper, but this evening i decided to use it directly
i'll be very honest, the experience was ridiculously smooth.
the whole connect wallet, choose chains, swap. done. did all that in less than 2mins. with even better quotes.
not sure it gets more seamless than this tbvh.
i was actually moving funds over to @perpltrade on monad(will share more later), and the whole process took way less effort than i expected.
it was so good i had to share it so anyone looking for another good bridge with a really clean user experience can check it out.
$SPCX is now available on Mayan.
Swap to it from any chain, any asset, instantly.
The largest IPO in history, brought to @Solana by @sunrise and @backpack.
