But the one change that I think will hurt Twitter the most is logged out users not being able to see tweets. Twitter DAU/regular usage is tiny compared to other social networks. Its ability to be THE source for trending news will take a huge hit. Social capital chipped away.

People have cried wolf for sure, but when they do it for 9 months, that's something. Platforms die all the time. I don't think twitter will die anytime soon, but it will at some point (as all platforms do) and bad product decisions (and strong competition) will expedite that.

Not sure folks realize the amount of absolute chaos that is coming in the next 18 months. So many companies raised at such crazy multiples of revenue/escalated burn so significantly that there is no rescue path. I estimate this could be half or more of growth stage companies.
