Ironically his father knew this well and wrote a treatise on gold, sound money and freedom. He ignored all that and played the fiat system like a fiddle and became wealthy doing so. His comment that people debasing money is just the system and not particularly evil tells you all you need to know about his morals. Not an honorable man.
