What a wknd. My family got me wearing this jacket but let’s be honest, I would so damn proud of my kids if they went to @IndianaUniv . My parent graduated from The @OhioStateFB & are no longer with me. I also lost to IU in the sweet 16 my last game in college @DukeBlueMBB . What a ride

Honored to be part of the Las Vegas Jacks ownership group as we pursue an NBA expansion franchise. Nothing is guaranteed, but it’s a privilege to work alongside an exceptional group of leaders who believe in the future of Las Vegas and the @nba bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

I want to thank LeBron James and his super agent Rich Paul for taking a meeting with me back in 2018 when I was President of the Lakers and deciding to sign with us. He created a whole new era for the Lakers, including leading us to an NBA Championship in 2020 and all the milestones he surpassed in a Lakers jersey. I’ll always love and be grateful for him and wish him all the best in the next phase of his life, on and off the court!

Brilliant & exactly what needs to be heard.
Free agency is here and, right now, my TL is all LeBron, all day. Where's he going, what are the Warriors doing, etc. That's fine. He's LJ. I get it! But I'll tell you what I'm actually watching, and it isn't LJ and marquee guys. It's the OGs. Don't get me wrong, I love this young NBA. These kids are so skilled it's almost unfair, and athletic in a way that's crazy. Different game now. A better one in a lot of ways, and I mean that. Here's my thing, though. When I came into the league I didn't know anything, not really, and it was the vets who raised me. Guys like Ervin Johnson and Lindsey Hunter and Ray Allen taught me how to carry myself, how to be a pro on the nights nobody's watching. Taught me about money. Shoot, taught me about golf, about how to be a man. I needed that. Most of these young guys need it too, whether they know it yet or not. So yeah. Harrison Barnes going back to San Antonio, that one was obvious. Russell Westbrook getting tied to DC? I love it for AJ Dybantsa and them. And if you've got a young roster you're trying to grow, you have to call a Khris Middleton or a Mike Conley. Get somebody in that locker room who's seen it, lived it, and can pass on that knowledge. They can still give you minutes, sure. But that's not really why you sign them. You bring them in for the kid who's got all the talent in the world and no idea what to do with it yet. The vet pulls him aside when the coaches can't. Shows him the little things nobody teaches you in college. Shows him how to play the game, but also live the life. Each one teach one. That's how it used to worked in the NBA. Let's make sure the young guys get that same guidance.

We tend to treat “the media” as one voice when it’s really hundreds of individuals. The same ecosystem that rewarded Jaylen Brown’s basketball excellence can also frame his independent thinking as difficult or unconventional. Both realities can exist.
The media hates Jaylen Brown? The same media that voted him NBA Finals MVP Voted him all nba 2nd team (twice) 6th in MVP voting Where is there evidence the media hates him?

Shaking your opponent’s hand doesn’t mean you“respect” them. It’s a formality.. and it’s meant for 4th grade kids. This is professional sports. We have to stop with these rules that have never existed.
Bullshit… it’s about having and showing respect for fellow professionals. Sadly too many players in the NBA understand that.

He just made smaller guards a lot more money in this NBA draft.
Jalen Brunson thank you!!! Don’t run away from “small” guards! You can win with them too. Just gotta believe and give em a real opportunity

Wemby should be out of the game. Hate to say it but that was a flagrant 1 & the refs flat out missed it… or did they. Unacceptable.

Culture is GLOBAL now @cthagod … he is one of the most famous athletes in the world.
Charlamagne tha God tells Andrew Schulz he’s not Victor Wembanyama should be the face of the NBA. He doesn’t relate to the culture, he’s a foreigner, and he does all these gimmicks walking barefoot in the garden drawing in the park etc
