Takes a lot to surprise me these days, but I’m genuinely surprised by the subdued press corps reaction to Trump sabotaging Evan Gershkovich. Somewhat less surprised Dow Jones hasn’t condemned Trump’s gross intervention, but that’s…a different story.

To drive my own car, I must have a drivers license (which made me prove proficiency), a title/registration, & liability insurance, in case I accidentally kill somebody.
If we require these simple things of cars, & there’s no national objection to it, why not apply them to guns?
