Shopify just introduced a major upgrade to webhooks in developer preview. Instead of receiving massive payloads for every event, you can now define a GraphQL query and receive only the fields your app actually needs. Less compute. Less processing. Lower costs. Watch the full walk through to see how to set it up and upsert products in Gadget: youtube.com/watch?v=ta8Ib9pP…

fwiw, I think Chrome's UX for vertical tabs is more annoying than a crappy logo refresh xitter.cf/rdraward/status/204260…
I really like @googlechrome's vertical tabs, but it is currently way too tough to hover + rearrange tabs when the "x" for closing tabs is dead center @firefox does this much better imo

Webhooks were built for a simpler time. Next Generation Events are built for ours. Choose what triggers your webhook, shape your payload with GraphQL and run filters before it even hits your endpoint. Now in Developer Preview.

I'm doubling down after using Chrome's vertical tabs for a couple days: get the close button out of the tab itself The current design makes it way too easy to accidentally close tabs

Loved sitting down with @gadget_dev's infra team to talk about how agents fundamentally changed production debugging and incident response tldr; Claude go brrrr
We set out to cut costs on observability and ended up rebuilding our incident response workflow. By using agent skills to migrate our stack to Grafana & ClickHouse: - Our monthly observability bill dropped ~60% ($20k → $8k) - Root Cause Analysis investigations went from days to hours - Any engineer can use agents to run our 8-phase RCA playbook Read the full blog post to see how we did it: gadget.dev/blog/how-we-accid…
