This comes just a day after defense secretary Pete Hegseth secretly met Israeli PM Netanyahu at Israel's Ovda airbase amid discussions over possible renewed military action against Iran.
The deployment will add roughly 10,000 sailors, Marines and other US personnel to the region.

🇮🇷🇺🇸⚡️– Over 10,000 US marines and sailors will arrive in the middle east aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt along with its strike group and the Makin Island Amphibious Assault group.
The US already has two more aircraft carriers deployed in the Arabian Sea for operations against Iran. The arrival of more forces will significantly increase the US ability to launch strikes and even landing operations on Iranian coastal areas.
As it stands, we are moving towards a major escalation in middle east.
