Hurricane Isaias is the first hurricane of the 2026 Atlantic hurricane season as it moves toward a landfall on the northern Gulf Coast Friday night or early Saturday, with storm surge, rainfall flooding and high winds. It will then spread its heavy rain inland over the East this weekend. READ MORE: weather.com/2026/10/08/storm…

Here's a look at the rainfall over the past few days. Along the coast, there's a swath that ranges mainly from 8-14". While most north of I-10 didn't see those same totals, there are still several pockets that ranged anywhere from 2-5" of rain. How much rain did you see?

Sylvester Stallone with his dad Frank Stallone Sr. and brother Frank Stallone Jr. in Gioia del Colle, Apulia, Italy in 1965....
Sylvester was 19 when he visited Gioia del Colle, the southern Italian town from which his paternal family originated. His father, Francesco “Frank” Stallone Sr., was born in Gioia del Colle in 1919 and emigrated to the United States as a child. Sylvester’s grandfather Silvestro had worked as a barber before the family left Italy.
Stallone had grown up in a turbulent household. His parents had an extremely contentious marriage and divorced when he was young. Stallone later described his father as exceptionally tough and said he himself became aggressive and difficult as a teenager. He attended numerous schools, was expelled from several, and spent time at a school for troubled youths.
Around 17, he went to the American College of Switzerland, where he became involved in acting. He later struggled financially while pursuing acting, taking small roles before writing the screenplay that became Rocky. Released in 1976, the film turned him into an international star.
Nearly six decades after this visit, Sylvester and Frank returned to Gioia del Colle in September 2023. Both were awarded honorary citizenship in a public ceremony.
During that 2023 return, Stallone visited the building where his grandfather had operated his barbershop and was presented with the original key to the shop. He held it up before the crowd, connecting his family’s emigration from this small Italian town directly to the life that eventually produced Rocky.

Africa is bigger than many people realize. But the way maps are drawn inflates the size of some countries, so places like the United States, Russia, Canada, and the whole European continent get massively inflated on traditional maps, whereas Africa appears smaller than its true size. When you draw countries to true scale, it’s amazing just how many you can fit into Africa.

Brandon Fugal: "We saw a Flying Saucer in broad daylight above 'The Mesa' at Skinwalker Ranch" 👽🛸😱
"In conducted a few maneuvers then in the blink of an eye it was gone. It either cloaked itself or faded out of this reality"
On October 14, 2016 at 4 pm, while hosting a former Area 51 surgeon at Skinwalker Ranch, every phone drained at once. Then a 40 to 50 foot silver gray disc appeared in broad daylight over the mesa. It performed split-second maneuvers that looked like it was surveying the property and the people watching, then vanished or cloaked. Multiple witnesses. Pure nuts and bolts UFO.

🚨TRIANGLE OBJECT SIGHTING SOUTH OF CARROLLTON - AUGUST 3RD 2026
Witness account:
"On Monday, August 3, at exactly 6:40 PM CDT, I captured this footage of a massive, dark triangular object while onboard my flight from Jackson, MS, to Atlanta, GA. Sitting on the right side of the aircraft looking South, we were 37 minutes into the flight and roughly 16 minutes from landing, placing the object near the AL/GA state line (approximately 5 miles south of Carrollton, GA).
The object was an estimated 5 to 8 miles away and appeared to be moving very slowly relative to the cloud deck below. This was recorded on an iPhone at 3x zoom—which accounts for the visible digital noise in the footage—but the rigid geometric shape and lack of conventional aviation features were strikingly clear to the naked eye. I'm always annoyed how short these ufo videos often are, but the recording only ends because our aircraft flew past the object, and the increasingly shallow viewing angle through the passenger window eventually cut off my line of sight."

🌌 YOU ARE INSIDE A STORY BIGGER THAN TIME 🌌
Look up at the night sky for just a few seconds. It looks quiet. Peaceful. Almost empty. But behind that silence is a realm so vast and strange that it can shake everything you believe. The universe has no clear edges, no center, and no final end we can see. It keeps going… and going… holding billions of galaxies, each packed with billions of stars. Somewhere among them is our tiny world, circling an ordinary star, in a place so small it almost disappears. Yet somehow, we are here—aware, curious, and asking questions.
Here’s the part that feels unreal: when you look at the stars, you are not seeing the present. You are seeing the past. Their light has traveled for millions or even billions of years just to reach your eyes. Some of those stars may not even exist anymore. Time itself changes across the universe, slowing near massive objects and flowing differently through empty space. This realm does not follow the rules we feel on Earth.
And most of it? We can’t even see it. Nearly everything in the universe is made of dark matter and dark energy—invisible forces that shape galaxies and push the universe to expand faster every second. They control the future of everything, yet remain a mystery. Even more surprising… the atoms in your body were once inside ancient stars that exploded long before Earth existed. You are not just in the universe—you are made from it.
So here’s the question that lingers: in a universe this enormous, this old, this full of possibilities… are we really alone? Or are there other eyes, somewhere far beyond our reach, staring into the same darkness and wondering the same thing? The universe is quiet—but quiet doesn’t mean empty. It may simply mean the story is far bigger than we ever imagined. 🌠
