Today, Mark Warner finally tried to come out of hibernation, where he has been for the past 18 years. He attempted to push for unanimous consent on a bill with zero Republican co-sponsors, yet he claims he wants to work across the aisle. Thankfully, the attempt was shot down.
Every six years, Mark Warner puts on a bipartisan show hoping you’ll forget his inaction and record of one-party bills. Virginia needs a real representative who will actually get things done in Congress. Let’s do better, Virginia.

Justin Verlander has played 21 seasons in the majors. His final start was today.
After 5⅓ innings, manager A.J. Hinch came out to take him out, then pointed to the stands. Genevieve, his 7-year-old daughter, sprinted onto the field in his jersey, ran to the mound, and hugged him. He started shaking and crying. He had no idea it was coming.
Then he walked off holding her hand.❤️
His wife Kate and their little boy Bellamy (1) met them at the dugout.
