I don't know why, but I hardly see any top media writing about the critical situation with electricity in Ukraine. With its drone and missile strikes, Russia has almost achieved what it has been trying to do for the past four years, namely to cause a complete blackout in Ukrainian cities, and in the fourth year of the war, it has almost succeeded, greatly aided by the cold winter, which Ukraine has not seen in a long time The situation is so critical that people are sitting without electricity for 10-18 hours straight in -15 degrees Celsius. And there is no reaction from the international community. Is it waiting for news of an elderly person or a small child dying from the cold? It's just total fuckery, and the world is reacting to it as if it were normal No additional sanctions on Russia, no pressure, just silently watching as a country with a population of ~33 million freezes and dies Western leaders say that Ukrainians should return home, but where should they return to? By destroying the energy system, Russia wants to turn cities into “dead zones” from which people will flee, and they will flee to you - abroad
