This didn't age well FYI @wholemars
Replying to @TSLAFanMtl
Incredible progress? To achieve what Waymo has been doing for years and what Elon poo-pooed for years? It's all just a distraction for the now clear fact Tesla can't and will never achieve level 4-5 self-driving on all its HW3-4 cars.

"Tesla, the worlds safest vehicle in a meteor shower"
😮 @Channel10AU Just said Tesla has worlds safest car as a Meteorite hits a Model Y in Australia ☄️🇦🇺 “Andrew drives a Tesla and that night he wasn’t driving, the car was and that night, 110km an hour down the freeway and when the window exploded. The car drove on nice and steady. Tesla, the world’s safety car in a meteor shower. @elonmusk @TeslaAUNZ @teslasi

Soon people will realize how learning to drive instead of having guardrails with HD Maps is the way to go
This is why we’ve developed FSD Supervised to make use of the same things humans do: Eyes (vision) & brain (neural nets) As a result, if you can drive somewhere, your Tesla can too. No HD maps. Just input → output

Elon is ruining Rivians brand too apparently 😜
🔥BREAKING: Rivian cut 2025 outlook. Lowers vehicle deliveries guidance by 10-13% to 40-46K (from 46-51K in February).

Waymo does 250k rides per week. Has 1,000 vehicles in its fleet. Tesla makes 1,000 self driving capable cars in 5 hours. Uber pays drivers 60-70% of fares Yes this includes cost of car and maintenance but where does the ~40% go when there is no driver? Let that sink in.

No oil changes, charge at home, brakes last 100k miles+, no spark plugs, no transmission to service, no timing belt. Value of this car is incredible.
Has anybody seen our friend? – Lowest cost of ownership of any new car in America – Made in America – $299/month with $1k down 🇺🇸 Looks like this:

Only a few months away until people finally begin realizing the potential this will have.
FSD Supervised ride-hailing service is live for an early set of employees in Austin & San Francisco Bay Area. We've completed over 1.5k trips & 15k miles of driving. This service helps us develop & validate FSD networks, the mobile app, vehicle allocation, mission control & remote assistance operations

🇺🇸DEM DEAN PHILLIPS: MY PARTY HAS LOST ITS PRINCIPLES—WHAT TIM WALZ SAID WAS APPALLING “I really don't recognize my party. I don't recognize its principles. What I saw my governor and friend Tim Walz say today was appalling. I'm just shocked that someone who should know better read the room so poorly. I liked Tim for a long time, but this is not serious. The tanking of Tesla stock not only hurts a lot of Minnesotans who have their money in pension funds, it hurts Tesla employees. This is one of the world's foremost innovative companies based in the United States of America. No elected official should ever demean an American company like that. It's nonsensical." Source: NewsNation, March 19, 2025 @elonmusk
🚨 🇺🇸 WALZ CELEBRATES AS MINNESOTA PENSIONS BURN Governor Tim Walz openly celebrates watching Tesla stock plummet, apparently unaware—or unconcerned—that his own state has nearly 2 million TSLA shares in pension funds. While Walz gets his "mood boost" watching the stock fall, Minnesota retirees face the consequences of his political vendetta. This perfectly encapsulates today's Democratic leadership: willing to damage their own constituents' financial security just to score points against Elon. When politicians cheer financial damage to American companies employing thousands just because they dislike the CEO's politics, we've entered dangerous territory. Source: The Hill, Fox

It's totally fine if Neil hates Elon, but don't take away the accomplishments that are truly extraordinary. Vast majority of people can't hate and appreciate parts of the same person at the same time. People that do, next level unlocked!
Neil Degrasse Tyson on @elonmusk in September 2024: “Hasn't done anything that NASA hasn't already done” . . . .

This is important
Tonight, Elon Musk used Starlink to directly livestream himself playing Diablo on X. During the stream, he said @Tesla cars would get @xai's Grok in the future. While that was happening, his tunneling company, @boringcompany, announced on X that its Profrock-3 tunneling machine had surfaced inside the expansion of Tesla's Giga Texas factory. This tunnel is intended to transport Cybertrucks, which are made from a unique stainless steel partly developed by Charlie Kuehmann, VP of Materials Engineering at both SpaceX and Tesla. After reading that post, I saw a post from @ModdedQuad, who was using his @neuralink brain chip to send an @X post. This is the Muskonomy. A lot of cross-pollination and mutual benefit.

People that vote no or are considering voting no on Elons comp package really should read this thread.
I’d argue that no other executive is as aligned with shareholders as @elonmusk, who committed to no salary, no bonus, no stock comp FOR 10 YEARS, unless he created tremendous value for @Tesla shareholders.

Neuralink is accepting applications for the second participant. This is our Telepathy cybernetic brain implant that allows you to control your phone and computer just by thinking. No one better than Noland (@ModdedQuad) himself to tell you about the first!
Redefining the boundaries of human capability requires pioneers. If you have quadriplegia and want to explore new ways of controlling your computer, we invite you to participate in our clinical trial.

LOL, Gordon Johnson can't handle data from a finance site being shared
Sources say Gordon is the top, (oh wait) err, bottom 1% of all analysts. Not sure anyone should listen to him
