One thing that still bothers using @cursor_ai desktop app is the branching. When one chat/agents works on a branch, and on project level I select a new agent, it automatically also uses that branch. When using PS to switch to main, the other active agent also switches back main

I would like to really be able to select branch per chat/agent without it automatically syncing the branches over chats. It creates issues and the agents (using composer or grok) take way too long and too many tokens to sort out which changes belonged to which agent.

Finaly can use Grok 4.5 in cursor! SO far its great. I do feel like it is less strict in following rules/skills/cursor settings than Composer 2.5. e.g.: Always start branch names with cursor/ < It doesn't happen now.

Anyone compared Composer 2.5 with Grok 4.5 in real usage? What are your experiences?

Hi @cursor_ai. I am trying to use a local hosted model through ollama. Is there a guide on how to? Hacky-ways do not seem to work. Any help is much appreciated!

I tried gpt 5.5 instead of composer in @cursor_ai .. oh boy that was the last time. It breaks what composer made while claiming its an "upgrade"
