A big thanks to Micheál @MichealMartinTD for taking the time to chat with me this week about our desire for a well overdue Olympic 50 metre pool & sports arena in Cork. #Cork50MtrPool

Ignoring the leading sport and fitness routine for people from 1 year old to 100 years old in the fastest growing City in the country is short sighted and detrimental to the citizens, who deserve better!

The only way a #Cork50MtrPool will be built in cork is private venture! The city council have NO vision at all when it comes to health or sports! ow.ly/dgW850nKJwy

Agreed
For any sports person to compete with other world class athletes they need a level playing field!
That includes appropriate training facilities & arenas.
Cork needs to support its aspiring kids.
An Olympic Sports Arena with a 50 metre pool would be a great start.

Wonder what JCD, BAM or O'Callaghans would charge to build an Olympic 50metre pool, seeing as they're building everything in Cork anyway!! 😁🏊♂️ #Cork50MtrPool
