RaXPol is currently supporting the PAPEL for investigating lightning signatures using polarimetric radar, including depolarization streaks and ice alignment associated with electric field.

As part of a @forestservice field experiment, we collected RaXPol observations near a controlled burn in Florida! We were collocated with many other observing platforms that will be used to study the smoke properties, including lidar, solar, and particle and gas sensors.
