And yet, despite this, Israel still doesn’t have full sovereignty over the Temple Mount—Judaism’s holiest site. How does that make sense? Why is the Jewish nation’s most sacred ground still controlled by the Jordanian Waqf? Let’s be clear: taking sovereignty over the Temple Mount doesn’t mean destroying mosques. It means Israel—not Jordan—decides what happens on the mountain. It means Jews can finally pray freely at their holiest site, just as Muslims and Christians worship freely in Israel. It means ending this absurd arrangement where Israel governs Jerusalem but is forced to surrender control over its most sacred place.
