Following reporting by @SaraGonzalesTX and @CarolineWren, a hospital employee told @RheinAmacher and I that Talarico had in fact been a patient at the Lindner Center of Hope near Cincinnati, Ohio, which specializes in around-the-clock mental health treatment.
While I sympathize with those dealing with mental health crises, this man is CLEARLY not suited to become a US Senator representing over 30 MILLION TEXANS.
The job doesn’t get easier after being elected — it only gets MORE stressful.
And Talarico clearly can’t handle it.
I pray he gets the help he needs, but Texans need a real representative they can rely on.

An 18-year-old saw an 80-year-old man with a walker crossing a busy Arizona road in shoes that were FALLING APART...
...so he pulled over, took the shoes OFF HIS OWN FEET, and gave them to him!!!
He found out the man had just lost his wife, bought him dinner, sat with him for hours, invited him to church, raised him $10,000 and now they talk on the phone EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!

His name is Jordan Hope.
He’s a recent high school graduate from Maricopa, Arizona who runs his own computer-building business.
He was on his way to the bank to deposit some money when he drove past a Walgreens on John Wayne Parkway.
Then he saw the man’s feet.
“His shoes were like maybe a fourth on his foot.”
So Jordan pulled over, got out, and took off his own size 13 Nike slides and he handed them over and stood there in the road in his socks.
“I just felt like God told me to go over there.”
He had NO IDEA a woman named Yareli Madrid was filming the whole thing from the parking lot.
He drove off, but something told him to turn back.
He found the man inside the Walgreens, helped him pick up his prescription, and bought him his favorite candy.

Jordan took time to speak to the man and that’s when Jordan learned the man’s wife had passed away just TWO WEEKS earlier.
“That honestly broke my heart.”
The older man's name is Roy, he’s 80 years old.
Jordan offered to take him to lunch at Culver’s, but a medical condition makes Roy’s legs swell so badly he couldn’t get into Jordan’s car.
So Jordan called him a rideshare and met him at the restaurant, they picked up the food, followed him ALL THE WAY HOME.
...and then he stayed, just to talk.
“So he didn’t feel that loneliness, you know?”
Someone posted the video trying to find out who this young man was, with a message for his parents:
“If this is your son, you did something right.”
Now Jordan calls Roy EVERY SINGLE DAY to check on him and a GoFundMe for Mr. Roy has already raised over $10,000+ for groceries and expenses.
The two of them are even talking about going to church together. ❤️
Jordan says this wasn’t his plan, he says God “interrupted my plans for that day to carry on his plans.”
He’s EIGHTEEN YEARS OLD.

The University of Valley Forge in Pennsylvania closed its doors this summer after 87 years with hardly anyone noticing. Just a few months earlier in May, the Valley Forge Military Academy, a college prep boarding & day school for high school kids that prepared boys to be great Americans for a hundred years, permanently shut down. We should be paying attention. The U.S. is losing the institutions that make strong Americans, strong men and strong Christians. Consider the impact that has on recruitment to the military & law enforcement, never mind families & communities as a whole. These are important places that are being diminished, devastated or lost.

Nothing is by chance. There are no coincidences. We are at war.
I recently spoke at one of these institutions, the Marine Military Academy in Harlingen, Texas. The students I met were exceptionally well-prepared for the next phase of their lives and the top graduate this past year, had been accepted into every service academy in the U.S.. The impact of losing these schools cannot be overstated.

Meet Heather Odum Brunton. This home caregiver decided it was a good idea to post a vile video mocking one year since Charlie Kirk was assassinated. She dances around making shot-to-the-neck gestures for what she calls her playlist for a “kirkaversary party.” In another clip she lip-syncs about the drinks she’s going to have to celebrate his death.
What’s even more shocking is that she’s a widow who lost her own husband to a drug overdose and regularly posts about grieving him. Yet here she is dancing and mocking the murder of someone else’s husband and father, a man killed in an act of political violence.
For someone who went through a horrible personal loss and whose job is supposed to be providing emotional and physical support to vulnerable people, this is a special kind of ugly. The lack of basic human decency is staggering. You don’t get to wrap yourself in grief when it suits you and then treat another family’s tragedy like a party theme. It’s vile and grotesque.
