It has been happening with Blood Origins. Ive had the whole story drafted since at least May, but I keep wondering if the writing is still below potential Then I suddenly remember Im not writing in my mother language, and maybe some meanings get lost or shift along the way.

my journey with English used to be on a whole other level lol. I used to spend my free time obsessively studying for Cambridge exams—and then I got certified. it was useful for LinkedIn. now I spend that same energy writing fanfics. at least I can say I’m still practicing. 🤫

and yet, sometimes I'm just feeling down guys, I'm sorry I have so many fic ideas — as most of my ongoing stories are already written as I tend to plot and immediately draft everything FAST but then I keep staring at it and it looks meh.

funny though, because then I remember I’m the first person in my family to speak another language — and for that, I’m grateful and proud. I just need to remind myself I was 15 when I had my first class at an English school. of course my brain has gaps.

thinking how a professional sabbatical turned into a year of raretrusts. never planned any of this — all the highs and lows of writing fics surprised me. leaving mistakes behind, carrying the learning with me. truly thankful for all the support. quite a journey. it was fun!
