Agree with this. I think he knows she's lying the whole time (he would've known the facts of her case, and she's clearly lying throughout the movie), but he's fascinated by how she lies to him and how she gets to him anyway.
My read of you can see everything is that the final two scenes are fielder saying 1) she got me 2) she got me the same way she got anyone else— by weaponizing her vulnerability

Just saw an exchange that every politician and candidate should note. Someone posted that their dad was considering voting for Ashley Moody because of negative ads about Angie Nixon. And Angie Nixon showed up in the replies, addressed his concerns, explained what she’s fighting for, and made it personal. People want to feel heard, not just talked at. Angie’s response was perfection 🔥

Curbing the out-of-control power tech companies have over political discourse has to be at the top of the agenda for a Democratic Congress in 2027 and a core plank of any nominee's platform in 2028. Full stop. This is a fucking outrage.

something especially impressive for Angie is not only has she outraised Moody this quarter, she's raising most of her money in-state and seems to be significantly outraising Moody in most parts of the state. Donors don't directly translate to votes, but it's an encouraging sign!

This is DEFCON 1 for our democracy. I expect every Democrat, from the most right wing flank of the party to the left, to come out guns blazing in defense of Ilhan Omar. Any Dem who stays on the sidelines of this or offers only muted, noncommittal criticism should be ostracized.

I love knowing people’s last names and queers never want to give them to me- if you don’t I’m just gonna reinvent one from first principles!
I find it both very funny & totally annoying how upset many gay people get when they hit me on my phone for the first time and i ask “what’s your last name?”, as if they get to be mononymous in my contact despite being named Kai or Ari like everyone else. I’m separating my Socks!

Reduction of working hours is an excellent socialist policy because it directly challenges the notion that capitalist development = progress. Why isn't the advancement of tech reducing the amount of labour we have to do? It's a question that capitalist media will never ask.
A 32 hour four day work week without loss in pay would do more for our overall quality of life and wellbeing than nearly any other singular socioeconomic change

ashley moody allowed 10 mil in FL tax payer funds that were supposed to be spent on children's healthcare to be re routed to the florida republican campaign coffers. because they stole from the poor to give back to the rich nothing happened to her. this is how the law works
My husband is a police officer. My opponent puts criminals and cop killers on pedestals -- to most, that's crazy. To me, it's personal.

I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silenced.

Bethany wore a T-Shirt that said ‘Protect the Dolls’ during #Strictly rehearsals. After posting a video, the BBC quietly replaced it with a new one that doesn’t show her from the front. During the show, they actually blurred out the T-Shirt completely. Absolutely despicable
