There are clear advantages to relying more on ur database. There are also clear disadvantages to relying more on ur database :) All these disadvantages are: • 1) completely solvable problems • 2) significantly outweighed by the advantages You shouldn't need to be afraid to use the other 80% of Postgres (your database). @tembo_io is going to make all this DX around "actually leveraging your database more" 10x better. I'm excited to make this meme a reality🚀

I think Im in love with the builder pattern specifically in Rust - the type safety is just insane

Type-safe query builder with compile time checks & everything is just json -> Rust struct with Serde via postgREST. Will also have a fallback to raw sql :). You could really construct ur dream query builder with this

No one is talking about the fact that RSC's really won't get 100% adopted at companies that don't support Node backends. Very likely going to see a lot of companies either not adopting RSC's completely or using them as a BFF over the next few years

More developer tooling companies should start local-first. DX is always better via local -> cloud, not the other way around
