At a recent professional training program for 140 African and Arab Publishers facilitated by SBA and the University of New York School of Professional Studies Centre for Publishing and Applied Liberal Arts. The program was held in the gorgeous Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry building as a run-up to the 42nd edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair. The objective was to impart invaluable insights into the global best practices in the publishing industry by leveraging the expertise of renowned publishing experts, to nurture skills, as well as boost capabilities in the use of modern technologies for book marketing.
