What happened to all the protest and social commentary music? Sex Pistols, The Specials, Public Enemy, KRS-One, Rage against the Machine, System of a Down, Arrested Development ... even Chumbawumba. Everything seems to be candy pop these days.

We loved seeing the @YaxleyParish Chair Andrew Wood at our last few matches, and even more so yesterday, along with his ๐ธ ๐
The Parish Council badge is proudly presented in our matchday programme and links through to their page, if you'd like to know more about their role supporting our village.
Our relationship with the village is really important to us, and something we've been actively building since March when our CIC took over.
Next week, we will host the local allotment holders for coffee. We are buzzing to support Yaxley Scouts & Guides with the annual fireworks fundraiser, and we have recently welcomed local schools to play at the venue.
#ittakesavillage is more than just a hashtag for us. Let us know via DM if you are a local group and would like to work with us, too.
Not the result we wanted or expected at 2-0 up, but with skipper away & in the midst of an early season reshape of the squad, we will have days like this as we resettle.
Opportunity to bounceback on Wednesday, with a tricky local derby against our friends at @fc_peterborough

ALT Photo of Donald Trump holding the World Cup and wearing a red baseball cap reading "TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING". He's portrayed from a sideways angle in a seated position, while Gianni Infantino stands to his left, looking down towards Trump and smiling while knitting his fingers. Both men are wearing dark suits and white shirts with the top button open.
Always hard to take, going out after 90 mins & seven pens. But it's a 3rd match in a row unbeaten in normal time & only 3 GA. This was always going to be a season of growth, but still plenty to play for. I can only see this squad improving with a couple of tweaks. On to Saturday!
Final Score
Cuckoos 1-1 Deeping Rangers

6-7 after a penalty shoot out ๐ข
Our Yaxley man of the match sponsored by TRW Consultancy Ltd is Scott Waumsley.

We are trialling a new online matchday programme format this evening and would love to hear your thoughts.
You can bookmark programme.yaxleyfc.co.uk, the new permanent home of our matchday programme. This link is also available by clicking the Linktree in our social media bios๐๐ณ
As traditionalists, we absolutely love the printed version, but deadlines and costs mean it's prohibitive for us to do so for every match. For the FA Cup, FA Vase, later rounds of the regional/local cups, and any other notable games, we'll still try to have printed versions where possible.
Please let one of the matchday volunteers know if you like it or if there is anything missing that you'd like to see.
We rely on receiving up-to-date information from our opponents, so the accuracy of that information is on them ๐
