I decided to check the massive entry of claims on January 27 (124 between Babuk and Babuk2):
62 of Babuk were duplicated;
62 of Babuk2 are not attributable to attacks by this group

I would guess it’s a mixture of:
UPnP
People not wanting to use their cloud services and not setting up a VPN
It’s probably largely for music and film access (a guess)
And then: people not knowing the risks
