Inspired by 12y/o patient Avery Lafferty, @ranjitbindra + his team developed KL-50, a novel new #glioblastoma therapy. Now acquired by @Merck, KL-50 is advancing through FDA safety studies, w/hopes for a Phase I trial next fall.

~25–30% of #AML has MGMT silencing—a targetable vulnerability. New research presented by @Prateek_Bhardwj identifies KL50, a novel crosslinking compound, as highly potent in MGMT-silenced AML.
