Actor Imran Khan, in his challenge to a Leave India Notice, has told the court that he went near Mumbai's August Kranti Maidan on October 10 only "being curious about what was happening on the ground as far as student protesters were concerned".
When police told him the area was restricted, his "curiosity ended", and he complied with the directions "and proceeded towards his parked vehicle", reads his writ petition in the Bombay High Court against the notice directing him to leave the country by October 28.
It argued that Khan, an American citizen, was detained only after media reporters surrounded him and there was commotion.

Zohran is careful not to commit the sin of shirk so he just describes Navaratri
This week, our Hindu neighbors celebrate the Goddess Durga during the festival of Navaratri.
Our neighbors will dance Garba, venerate the Goddess Durga with Sindur Khela, receive Tika from elders, set up Golu in their homes, and so much more.
Whether your family calls it Durga Puja, Dashain, Dussehra, or Navratri, may this festival mark a season of reflection and renewal.

These are the kind of Indians I dislike, the kind that pull the ladder up behind them. He thinks he’s better than the others. You are just as undeserving as the rest, according to the ones pushing for ending the legal immigration system as we know it.
Ive been a part of this system. I got my Green Card through the PERM program. There is obviously a lot of nuance as you dig under the layers wrt laying of american workers in favor of immigrants but this system has been abused undoubtedly and this was long time coming. Its also worth mentioning that not all of us that went through the PERM program are undeserving.

Few actors possessed the intensity, individuality and unmistakable presence that Shri Nana Patekar Ji had. He brought remarkable versatility and creativity to every role and gave us characters that will be remembered for generations. He was also admired for his frank and forthright views, never hesitating to express what he believed in.
Shri Nana Patekar’s contribution to Hindi and Marathi cinema was immense. His passing leaves a deep void. My condolences to his family, friends and countless admirers. Om Shanti.

One thing that always gets lost in this debate: School starts WAY too early.
There's no law of nature requiring 5-year-olds to be in class by 7:30 a.m., which is obscene. Instead of making everyone endure 4:45 p.m. sunsets, just...send kids to school later.
No one likes changing the clock, me included, but Congress has enacted permanent Daylight Savings Time multiple times before and repealed it each time once Americans experienced absurdly late sunrises in the winter. Arkansans don’t want their kids going to school in the pitch dark, and I’ll always put Arkansas first.
