I’m phone banking for GOP candidates in Texas. Speaking to man in his 60s. He cannot stand Paxton. And then he says, “I’ll vote for a morally corrupt person every single time over a commie.” And that tells me the 3rd party ads are working. #txsen

HOLY COW!
Speaker Mike Johnson visited FOUR congressional districts across Pennsylvania today: Fitzpatrick (PA01), Mackenzie (PA07), Bresnahan (PA08), & Perry (PA10).
Speaker Johnson is working hard to keep our majority, so Republicans can continue to deliver for the American people.
Thank you for recognizing how important Pennsylvania is to the country.
Can we all thank @SpeakerJohnson for his work?

All members of all branches of government in the U.S. need to stop what they are doing right now and address the fact that autism rates increased another 42% between 2019 and 2024. It's the largest crime in human history and this cannot continue.

Talarico legit just sounds like some woke wizard casting gibberish spells.
Normal people don't talk like this.

“Okay, so the movie goes like this. The biggest drug cartels in the world get together and buy up all the media and all the politicians and force all the people in the world stay locked in their homes. And people can only come out if they take the cartels drugs and keep taking them over and over...”
Sound familiar?
New York Magazine said this was “the least funny SNL monologue in ages”.. Truth hurts.

Starting today, all Steak n Shake buns are officially seed-oil free. The buns are now unapologetically drenched in pure Grade AA Wisconsin butter.
The grass-fed, grass-finished Steakburger in a seed-oil-free bun is a new level of quality. Steak n Shake is breaking new ground with tastier, healthier options at affordable prices.

Did you read what Andrew wrote? There's pacs that he LEGALLY CAN NOT coordinate with, and some of those were campaigning against him in the primary, hence he's frustrated with their messaging.
This is the lamest attempt to gin up a fake scandal with a "leaked clip" I've seen in a long time. Paxton is complaining that he can't control his messaging because PACs he can't coordinate with are going off script. That's not a story, it's called following the law and not being corrupt.
Also, this is some of the same PAC money that dumped $100 million into Texas trying to submarine his primary against Cornyn. He's absolutely justified in being frustrated by the dynamic.

James Talarico plays a moderate on TV. His record is not moderate.
He called it “rich” that “defund the police” was considered off limits. He said our system of policing is “deeply broken” and “we must replace it with something new and something better.”
He donated to a group advocating police cuts and defended the donation.
He has told Texans exactly where he stands.
NEW KFILE looking at James Talarico’s record on policing in 2020. Talarico told a youth group then calling for defunding police that it was "rich" that "defund the police" was "off limits" in political debate when Texas had spent decades defunding public schools and health services. Said, "Our system of policing is deeply broken. We must replace it with something new and something better," and asked about instead sending "highly-trained crisis interventionists," some for some emergencies.
In June 2020, he donated $2,500 to the Austin Justice Coalition, a group calling for defunding police, a donation he later defended. He also criticized Gov. Abbott's proposal to cut revenue to cities like Austin over local decisions to reduce police funding. In 2022, Talarico said that if the country took "just half of what we spent on wars, prisons, and policing" and spent it on education, health care, and jobs, "we could make prisons obsolete."
Talarico's campaign says he "did not call for and does not support defunding the police" and has voted to send billions of dollars to local law enforcement.
