🚨Retiring Congressman Jerry Nadler will return home to New York under indictment for insurance fraud. Nadler, who gained sympathy from his constituents when his Long Island home burned down on Christmas Eve in 2017, now stands accused of defrauding Allstate for more than $2 million. "Congressman Nadler filed claims for several works of art, watches, and other high-value items that he still possesses," said Long Island District Attorney Malcom Reynolds. "Being a retired congressman doesn't make him above the law. Reynolds says the grand jury is convening next week and should return several felony indictments by late December. "His homecoming won't exactly be welcoming."
