WHY DO ENLIGHTENED PEOPLE AVOID TALKING ABOUT THEIR INSIGHTS? Because the moment the Infinite is poured into language, it becomes finite. The deepest realizations do not arrive as sentences. They arrive as a sudden, wordless collapse of the one who was seeking. What remains cannot be owned, displayed, or explained without immediately becoming smaller than itself. Speech is a vessel of time and duality. Enlightenment is the dissolution of both. Those who have truly seen know that every word is a finger pointing at the moon, and most listeners stare only at the finger. To speak too soon, too loudly, or too precisely is to risk turning living fire into doctrine, mystery into merchandise, silence into performance. The ego, even a subtle spiritual ego, loves to wear the robes of realization. Silence starves it. There is also compassion in the withholding. Not everyone who asks is ready to receive. A truth spoken before the heart has been emptied can become a new prison of concepts. The enlightened often wait until the question itself has burned away, until the seeker no longer needs an answer because they have become the answer. And finally, the insight is not information to be shared. It is a way of being. It lives in the way a person walks, listens, disappears into ordinary life. Not from secrecy, but from reverence. The Mystery does not require a spokesperson. It requires witnesses who have learned how to keep quiet so that others may hear it for themselves.
