after 400+ rides, i'm churning @Waymo, a product i genuinely loved. the service and quality have deteriorated at an astonishing rate over the past 6 months. despite repeatedly tagging them on X and submitting feedback, nothing has improved.
a few examples:
• my usual 14-min commute now consistently takes 20+ mins. waymo seems to invent a new, longer route every day
• repeatedly blocks my apartment's garage door and the parking garage entrance at work
• misses turns / gets confused at intersections, adding 10–15 mins to rides
• randomly drops me off 2-3 blocks from my actual destination
• i stepped out in the middle of traffic today to get out because it re-routed for the 3rd time
lil fun experiment. text play to +1 (646) 228-7432 to play games in iMessage (trivia, name that tune, 20 questions). more games soon, including group mode. lmk feedback!
