Can AI compete with Care, Empathy and Understanding me, the buyer?
I had a very pleasant experience on a call with a human customer service agent. Yes, I always call and buy big ticket items like travel. (eCommerce is a big reason for inflation imo). 👇

idk if its good or bad for his career, but Dwarkesh’s willingness to challenge powerful people on his pod is certainly commendable.

Jim Cramer is a FRAUD.
This guy really just went on CNBC and said the government is buying Bitcoin at $60,000.
Let me tell you why his narrative (and Bitcoin) is COMPLETE NONSENSE:
Friday, Bitcoin crashes to $60,000. Down 52% from its October high. Over $1.2 trillion in value evaporated. Panic everywhere.
And right on cue, Cramer goes on CNBC and says: "I heard at $60,000 the President is gonna fill the Bitcoin Reserve. You better cover."
No source. No evidence. No documentation. Just "I heard."
This is the same Jim Cramer who told you Bear Stearns was "FINE" five days before it lost 90% of its value.
The same Jim Cramer who called Silicon Valley Bank "compelling" weeks before it became the second-largest bank failure in American history.
The same Jim Cramer whose stock picks were so consistently wrong that Wall Street created an actual ETF to bet against him. Filed with the SEC and everything.
A Wharton study found his portfolio returned 4% annually from 2000 to 2017. The S&P returned 7%. You'd have done better flipping coins.
Now let's look at the facts he conveniently left out:
Treasury Secretary Bessent testified on February 5th that the federal government has NO legal authority to buy Bitcoin with public funds. None.
The March 2025 executive order says the reserve can ONLY hold Bitcoin from criminal seizures. No taxpayer purchases authorized.
Blockchain firm Arkham confirms government wallets haven't moved in over a month. 328,000 BTC sitting there. Unchanged.
Zero on-chain evidence. Zero official confirmation. Zero legal authority.
So why does a TV personality with the worst track record in financial media go on national television and tell you to "cover" at the exact moment of maximum panic?
When someone with a megaphone tells you to buy during a crash with no evidence, you don't ask IF there's an agenda. You ask WHOSE.
Meanwhile, here's what's actually happening in the real world:
Bitcoin is down 52% from its high. Gold just hit $5,020 an ounce - up 60% over the same period.
China's central bank has bought gold for 15 consecutive months. Saylor's Strategy is sitting on $6.5 billion in unrealized losses.
Bitcoin was supposed to be "digital gold." The ultimate safe haven.
Instead it's trading like a leveraged tech stock in a risk-off environment. Because that's what it always was.
The "digital gold" narrative didn't survive contact with actual crisis.
Real gold did.
Cramer is giving you a story to keep you from asking why Bitcoin failed its most important test.
Peter Lynch taught me something I've never forgotten:
When someone tells you to buy during a panic, ask what they own. If they can't show you receipts, they're showing you the exit.
Gold is telling the truth. Bitcoin is telling a story.
I know which one I'm holding.

The $33.4 Billion Shell Game: How Silicon Valley’s Greatest Fraud Unravels in 40 Days
Nvidia reported something devastating yesterday that nobody caught.
Days Sales Outstanding jumped to 53 days. Historical average: 46 days. That seven day difference represents $10.4 billion in revenue Nvidia collected on paper but never in cash.
Here’s what’s actually happening:
Nvidia invests in AI startups.
Those startups buy cloud services.
Cloud providers use that money to buy Nvidia chips.
Nvidia books it as revenue.
But it’s the same money going in circles.
The proof is mathematical:
• Accounts receivable: $33.4 billion (doubled since last year)
• Inventory: $19.8 billion (rising during a “shortage”)
• Cloud commitments: $26 billion (doubled in 90 days)
Total capital trapped: $79.2 billion.
Total cash generated last year: $64.8 billion.
They’ve trapped more money than they’ve ever made.
The smoking gun: Inventory rising 32% while claiming “insane demand” is impossible unless those chips aren’t actually selling. You cannot have shortage and surplus simultaneously. Basic physics.
Operating cash flow is only 75% of net income. Healthy companies generate 100% or more. That 25% gap? Fake revenue that will never become real money.
What happens next:
December 2025: Aging schedule reveals truth
February 2026: Last chance to exit
April 2026: First receivables writeoff
October 2026: Full unraveling begins
Stock price today: $140
Price after writeoffs: $70
This isn’t speculation. It’s accounting arithmetic. When receivables age beyond 60 days, writeoffs are mandatory under GAAP.
Nortel did this in 2001. Lucent in 2000. Both went to zero.
The mechanism is identical: circular vendor financing disguised as growth.
Verify yourself: Check any tech company’s DSO. Above 50 spells doom.
The countdown has begun.

As a mom of two boys, I increasingly struggle with the prospects for young men in America 🇺🇸
There is no future for “average” men anymore
You are either elite, or you are invisible
This shift has been happening for decades, but became pronounced in recent years
🚨The top 10% of American men have all the power, money, & access to women🚨
The bottom 90% fight over what’s left
In the 1960s, a guy could graduate middle of his class, get an average job, marry an average girl at his high school, buy a modest home, make a nice living
Today, average isn’t enough to get hired at a good job that affords you a home
And those average women from high school are now on dating apps. Having achieved average or better career prospects themselves, they want nothing to do with average men
💥Social media exacerbates all this💥
As the standard of living for the median male in this country grows increasingly worse, young men are desperate to not be average
How desperate?
➡️ Andrew Tate has amassed millions of followers
➡️ Sports betting is at all time highs
➡️ Male workforce participation has plummeted (they’re giving up)
➡️ Male suicide rate skyrocketing
➡️ Male plastic surgery at all time highs
And the scary thing is, as a mom, I don’t know what to do other than give my boys the best opportunities to help them reach that elite level
But the reality is, most of our boys aren’t going to make it. And we still want them to have good, meaningful lives
How do we fix this?
