We said Angel just needed professional level basketball players around her and y’all thought we were experiencing psychosis. Angel said Vandersloot ain’t it, try harder as an organization and they vilified & scapegoated her for it. White Supremacy has been hate watching for 3.5 years straight scrutinizing every play on court and every move off court all bc she taunted the player that displays the worst sportsmanship in the game… just for her to still win, win, and win again. She’s won before she got to this league, got here and blazed a trail, won individually with accolades, won with her brand, and now is a winner heading to the biggest stage and showing she’s a premier player and ambassador for this league. If reading this made you livid, then that is EXCELLENT 🫵🏾🤣.

Luka Dončić revealed that LeBron James reached out to him when he decided to leave the Lakers, and Luka responded by thanking him for everything and telling him how amazing it was to be teammates. On becoming the new face of the Lakers, Luka says he’s embracing the responsibility: “It’s not really pressure. It’s an honor.” (Via @SInow)

Lane Johnson DIDN’T QUIT. He did the hardest thing a football player can do. He chose to live. After 14 years, 5 Pro Bowls, and 2 Super Bowl Rings for the Eagles, he retired to focus on his family and his mental health. He said he deeply wanted to gut it out for one more year with his brothers, but when he looked at his life he knew that his family needed him more. That is not weakness. That is strength. Your Mental health should be a PRIORITY. Always choose your family and your mental health over the approval of others. #outtapocket #nfl #flyeaglesfly #rg3 #family

This is so evil, that poor girl angled her fall in a way that her body would absorb the blow to give her baby a chance
23-year-old Nathaly Ramirez was killed and her 8-month-old daughter was critically injured when the pair was pushed from a 15-floor balcony at a Bronx apartment building Tuesday. It happened at 2550 Olinville Ave. in Allerton at 3:38 a.m. “I heard her yelling and screaming, ‘Please don’t do this, that’s my baby! My baby is scared, look at her face,'” a woman told ABC 7 New York. “That’s when, the next thing you know, I heard her scream and I see something hit the ground.” Investigators “determined that both individuals had been pushed from a balcony,” the NYPD reported. Witnesses told cops she and the baby had been shoved off. Cops are looking to question a boyfriend she recently split up with but have not labeled him a suspect. Ramirez’s death has been deemed a homicide by the NYPD but no arrests have been made. There have been numerous reports of domestic violence at the home resulting in arrests over the past few years. Joe Burrow staying late after practice today: “Just me trying to get better. A couple other guys stayed after as well, but I was just trying to work on my mechanics today… it's all feel. It's all feel. It's a results-driven business, and how the football comes out is my result.”

There is nothing funny or to ridicule about someone taking care of their mental health. This is sad and terrible to listen to.
"Now he calls it quits, not before the season. Not in the offseason…four games into the 2026 season, a dude that has been in the league forever, sits back and says I need to focus on my mental health" – Stephen A. Smith on Lane Johnson retiring

Was SOOOO proud of @LaneJohnson65 for having the courage to speak up all the way back in 2021 — well before so many others were comfortable doing so. He has continued to speak up to Be Of Service to make sure others know they aren’t alone in this fight. This fight isn’t fun nor pretty but with cats like Lane, it definitely helps
My full conversation with Eagles Pro Bowl tackle @LaneJohnson65 on Mental Health @nflonfox. Pleaseeeee, people, don’t bottle it up!

UPDATE: According to Amina Seck’s lawyer, Sadiqa Reynolds, Amina will be released from ICE custody today on a $2500 bond. God is good. Thank you to everyone who shared her story. 🙏🏾
This is very concerning news. Amina Seck is an incredible athlete who came to the states from Senegal to play the game she loves and get a higher education. I had the chance to call a game of hers last season. She was Kentucky State’s lead scorer last season. Her coach and team thinks the world of her. She’s a great kid and does not deserve this. I’m asking all HBCU alums, any women’s basketball personnel/fans, & anyone with a platform to please share this story and bring Amina home safely. She needs medical attention and surgery ASAP. No human should ever have to go through this!
