Earlier this week, we joined @ydmt and @75Medialtd in the Yorkshire Dales to volunteer as part of their Plastic Free Woodlands project🌳
We thank the @ydmt team for organizing the event and @75Medialtd alongside all the volunteers for contributing to a better planet 🌍
Yesterday, Nick, Alex, Joe and Will joined a team of 20 volunteers in the #YorkshireDales to help our long-term charity partner, @ydmt, with their Plastic Free Woodlands project 🌿
It was fantastic to have our clients, James and Nick from @Posterscope, in helping to plant 500 trees using plastic free guards (made by the brilliant Rainbow Professional Ltd), demonstrating the impact of the charity’s #TogetherForTrees project which is helping to combat climate change, reduce flooding and emissions while also providing homes for wildlife 🐞 🦔
First planted in 2003 in The Hawes woodland, these new saplings will help to boost biodiversity on the site and create a mixed aged woodland, making it more resilient and better equipped to cope with the impacts of climate change. The team planted a variety of species including Rowan, Alder, Oak, Willow, Grey Willow and Crab Apple.
Well done to all involved! 🌱🌎
