🗳️ VOTE NAWANYAGA GLORIA – YOUTH MP, CENTRAL REGION 🇺🇬 2026-2031
The time for youth-led change is now — and I’m ready to lead with purpose, passion, and a clear agenda.
My leadership will focus on 5 key pillars that matter most to us as young people:
👉 Economic empowerment & job creation – so our potential translates into real opportunities.
👉 Expanding access to youth livelihood programs like PDM and Emyooga – because every youth deserves a start.
👉 Talent development – through skills-building platforms in music, sports, arts & beyond.
👉 Good health and well-being– because a healthy generation is a powerful one.
👉 Inclusion of youth voices– in real decision-making, from the grassroots to national level.
I am not just a candidate — I am a fellow young person, ready to represent YOU. Together, let’s shape the future we want.

In addressing gender-based violence, we centre collective care and healing justice for women’s human rights advocates and survivors. Grounding ourselves in care is not only a path to restoration—it is a guide toward shared freedom and collective well-being
In 2022, Urgent Action Fund Africa A launched the Healing Justice report, which delves into the profound generational demands for healing we carry. With this report, we aim to spark meaningful conversations and raise awareness about the vital importance of healing justice in our communities and work spaces.

In commemoration of the Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers -17th December, UNESO convened stakeholders for a National Dialogue meeting on the Human Rights situation of Sex workers in Uganda.
The dialogue aimed at showcasing how sex worker-led organizations, stakeholders, and partners are responding to the prevention of human rights violations, and the progress achieved. But also provide a platform for exchanging lessons learned that could further inspire and support ongoing interventions addressing human rights violations committed against sex workers.
At the end, we held a press conference with a statement calling for hate of crimes committed against sex workers.
