Yes, a Learjet 60 with 9 people crashed ~6-9 miles from Mar-a-Lago in Greenacres around 12:50 p.m. local time, killing all aboard. It was en route from Austin to the Bahamas and entered a steep nosedive. No evidence it was an attack or aimed at Trump (who had departed ~1 hour earlier). Pilot radioed mayday citing ice, turbulence, and overspeed. NTSB/FAA are investigating it as an accident. Rumors of a shoot-down stem from the impact visuals and location, but officials report none.

🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting in Texas after a Black male driver who slammed into a fire captain at 103 MPH, K*LLING him just hours after the birth of his FIFTH CHILD... ...was just sentenced to only SIX MONTHS in jail and PROBATION!!! Yes, you read that right. He pleaded guilty to intoxication manslaughter, and he’ll spend about six months in jail. On May 11th, 2025, Mother’s Day, Captain Marvin Taylor III's wife gave birth to their fifth baby at an Austin hospital. Marvin left the hospital to go pick up his other children so they could meet their new sibling. He never made it. At 1:05AM, he was stopped at a red light on East Koenig Lane. According to court records, that’s when a Dodge Durango came flying down the road and rear-ended his van at 103 MPH... the speed limit was 45. The crash sent Marvin’s van sliding 150 feet into a median. He passed away right there at the scene. The man who k*lled him is Rodney Bremby, he was completely drunk. He was booked on a $103,000 bond... and he bonded out within DAYS. In August, he pleaded guilty to Intoxication Manslaughter with a Vehicle, a second-degree felony. And this week, the sentence came down. 6 months in jail. 10 years of probation. 403 hours of community service. Those 403 hours were the family’s request, it was Marvin’s badge number. Now FIVE CHILDREN will grow up without their father, and the man who did it gets 6 month in prison. Say his name. Captain Marvin Taylor III. WE DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS!!!!!!!

82 Years Later, a Lynn Hero Returns Home. On Friday, October 30, the City of Lynn welcomed home U.S. Army Private Joseph A. Gala, a Lynn native who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country during WWII. Pvt. Gala was just 21 years old when he was killed in action in Burma on July 14, 1944. After more than eight decades, his remains have finally returned home. To Pvt. Gala's family, we extend our deepest respect and gratitude for his service and sacrifice. Welcome home, Private Gala. Lynn has never forgotten you. 🇺🇸

Iron Will was determined to practice Trick-or-Treating. Which was hilarious. To me. But every time he rang the doorbell, Big Mac started barking like a fiend. Which was not hilarious to the house’s occupants… #TeamIronWill #IronWill #DownSyndromeAdvocacy

"We do adoption events every month. Yesterday was our biggest one. Forty-two dogs found homes. It was a wonderful day. Winston did not find a home. He is eleven years old. He is large. He is silver-gray and his whole muzzle is white and his eyes are the color of a winter morning and he is the gentlest dog I have ever put on a leash. He sat in the same spot for six hours. He did not pace. He did not bark. He watched every dog around him get chosen and he wagged his tail for every family that walked past him without stopping. Every single one. For six hours. At 5pm when the last family had left and the last car had pulled out of the parking lot I turned around and Winston was sitting at the edge of the empty lot wagging his tail at the space where the people had been. I sat down on the asphalt beside him. I put my hand on his silver back. He leaned into me. I don't have a word for what I felt. I have worked in rescue for nine years. I have never sat on a parking lot asphalt at the end of a failed adoption event and felt so completely undone and so completely certain simultaneously. Undone because he deserves everything. Certain because he is going to be okay. Both at the same time. Both because of him. He wagged at the empty parking lot. That is who Winston is. That is who he has been every day of his eleven years. Share this for Winston. He wagged at the empty parking lot. The least we can do is find him someone to wag at who stays.

MAJOR the Malinois HAS BEEN SAVED. After 575 days locked up, a federal judge just saved his life. In case you forgot, here's what happened: Major was struck by a car and injured. 2 women unknown to him, approached him and tried to pick him up. He bit one of them on the arms. He was scared. And he was injured. Austin Animal Services seized Major. A city court ordered him put down A county court agreed. A Texas appeals court upheld it in February. He sat in isolation. No one could touch him. Or walk him. His owner, Shane Lilly, was told to come say goodbye. THE FIGHT: Lilly says he has a brain injury and Major helps with his seizures. A "FREE MAJOR" petition drew tens of thousands of signatures. Willie Nelson spoke up for him. Supporters rallied outside the shelter. Sept. 9: lawyers filed a federal disability lawsuit, two days before he was set to die. Judge David Ezra blocked it at the last minute. Lilly says he has a brain injury and Major helps with his seizures THE RULING: Late Monday, Ezra permanently barred Austin from putting Major down. Austin must release him to a rescue within 30 days. He'll be sedated and muzzled for the move. He gets at least 30 days to decompress outside Austin. Only Lilly and a vet can see him during that time. He can go home to Lilly if the vet signs off. Never to the public. And, Lilly must carry $100K in liability insurance WHAT'S NEXT The city will comply but still calls him a safety risk. No move date yet. The rescue hasn't been named. Hang on, Major. You're almost home 🐶
