I've played Metaphor ReFantazio for about 70 hours and here is my review #PS5: -You can pet the cat! -I liked it more than Persona 3, 4, 5 and I think these games are some of the best the genre has to offer -Art direction is incredible -All of the background stories are interesting -I played it on hard/normal and the fights were very challenging (you can change at any time) -The game is so addictive that I couldn't think of anything else for days -The OST is very unique and special (battle themes are insanly good) -The menus are incredibly fluid, and fast travel also works within a click -Snappy combat -Evolution of action/turn-based -Archetype system leaves a lot of room for experimentation -INSANE twists -Interesting plot -Great villains and bosses -Great freedom with the overworld -Very dark themes like child death, poverty, executions and racism -The voice acting is very well done -Best cast of characters since FF7 -Sidequests are meaningful -Dungeons are interesting with some puzzle elements -Not done with everything and still so much stuff to do -Inconsistent framerate is my only complaint Metaphor ReFantazio is an incredible JRPG experience that captivates, shocks and questions your own worldview.
