@ragebite is heading to Munich. 👋
@angelich0 and I will be at Sports Tech Nation, December 1-2.
We’ve been going much deeper into sports tech over the past year, and we’re looking forward to meeting more founders, sports organizations and people building interesting products in this space.
If you’ll be there too, send me a message.
See you in Munich!

"@Ragebite rebuilt the platform around a clear domain model, connecting users, clubs, teams, events, matches, payments, and operations as one scalable system. Development ran in parallel across product, design, frontend, backend, and infrastructure, with continuous integration keeping everything aligned as requirements evolved. AI agents were used inside defined workflows to accelerate execution, testing, and repetitive engineering tasks, while architecture, product decisions, and technical judgment stayed with the team."

@ragebite is a different kind of product company.
For companies building software for founders, the market became confusing very quickly. There was a huge amount of noise around the idea that “you can build everything yourself with LLMs.” Many founders started asking why they should hire a product company at all when they could either try to build it themselves or simply hire one person with enough technical knowledge to turn an idea into software.
But building a real product is not the same as generating code.
Code sits near the bottom of the product pyramid.
The difficult part is knowing what to build, what not to build, which decisions matter, how users will actually behave, how the UX should work, what kind of design fits the audience, how to turn an unpolished idea into a clear product direction, how the product should evolve, and how the technical architecture should support all of that without becoming a problem later.
That knowledge does not come from a model. It comes from years of building products, shipping them, making bad decisions, fixing them, scaling systems, watching users behave differently than expected, and learning what actually works.
@Ragebite spent years accumulating that experience.
We know what good architecture looks like, but also when not to overengineer. We learned that firsthand while building our own product, Playbase.gg, where we made architecture decisions that ended up costing us far more in server infrastructure than we actually needed.
We know what user-centric means. We know the difference between something that technically works and something that is actually usable, maintainable, and ready for the market.
Code is now much cheaper, and that helps us help founders build faster and create more stable products.
Soon, we’ll start sharing more about one of the latest products we’ve been working on. Before working with us, they spent around five years trying to build it with different teams, both in-house and outsourced.
They had software, but they did not have a product that users could actually use. That changed when @ragebite came in.
Our perspective 🚀
workflow:
- Prototype
- Spec
- Implementation Plan (inc. tasks, dependencies, file dependency graph, what can run in parallel)
- Execution through a coordinator (spawning agents per task)
- Each agent should pass CI before review
- Each agent reviewed by another agent
- Full CI once all agents are done
- Full review by an agent
- Final review by human

We invented "Plan work" and replaced "Create Issue".
"Plan Work" is a structured agentic conversation where PMs, developers, or whoever is working on the project define the work together and the output is clear tasks with real dependencies, ready for agentic orchestration.

Faster agents were never the thing that helped most.
The breakdown, the dependencies, and the order things run in used to live in whoever was holding it all in their head. Now they live in the system we built at @ragebite.

@ragebite introduced the same thing on one of our projects in May 2025!
Coincidence?
I wouldn’t say so! 😄💚

I have always believed that how well a product gets understood is what determines how well it gets built. That instinct shaped @Ragebite from the beginning. We moved from waterfall to agile, and then kept refining how we worked, not because the industry moved in that direction but because we were never fully satisfied with how the process itself worked. There was always something worth improving.
That mindset did not come from a single decision. It came from paying attention over many years to where the real friction in product development lives. With agile, we could adapt and correct as the work progressed, and that worked well. But the path to clarity was still longer than it needed to be. Understanding what a product should really be was something that tended to happen during the process.
We kept pushing in that direction, and then AI entered our playground. We started experimenting, building prototypes earlier in the process, and what amazed me was that we could walk into a first meeting with something real. We were not talking through decks, diagrams and documents, we were discussing an actual product. And what we could pull together between meetings changed the pace of every conversation that followed.
That shift made our process clearer, not different. Writing code, testing, and iteration all improve as a consequence.
As stated on our new website, where we try to explain our process:
"AI IS NOT A SHORTCUT. IT IS A FORCE MULTIPLIER FOR EXPERTISE."

No, it’s not a giveaway. We’re just celebrating a new project in our traditional way. Each project gets one Lego set, as a reminder of the importance of being prepared upfront and building products with a clear roadmap. Even one small mistake at the start can lead to huge time and money loss later. ⚡️
