If you're a leader lucky enough to have people who believe deeply in what they're doing, your job isn't to squeeze every last drop out of that belief. It's to build an organization worthy of it. bit.ly/4jpvxuG

If The Republican Party wants to arrest people for discussing the “content and gist” of the grand jury report, they should start by calling for the arrest of James Uthmeier who discussed it on Fox News, among other places. Starting in this clip at 3:50 foxnews.com/video/6404203980…

what they count as the US economy is the stock market, which in no way identifies how the average American is doing on a weekly basis.
PMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon says the US economy is booming. He points to strong corporate profits, low unemployment & AI infrastructure spending. But consumer confidence is at its lowest since 2014, inflation just rose to 3.7%, and 1 in 5 Americans is behind on at least one loan.

For modern humans, exile is a self-induced state brought to you by Instagram, DoorDash, Netflix, and, increasingly, AI companions. We aren’t amusing ourselves to death, as Neil Postman famously argued, but isolating ourselves into distrust, despair, and discord.

As Giridharadas explained, “being needed, being part of things, having someone wonder where you are” is essential. The absence of those connections is at the root of what’s going wrong for so many Americans.

A grand jury found that the James Uthmeier-led DeSantis administration misappropriated $10 million of Medicaid money in 2024 as part of a sophisticated scheme to fund political activities. You know how I know that? Because the First District Court of Appeal disclosed it.

A Brief History of Rigged Elections. For 250 years American elections were fine. People who won, won, people who lost, conceded. No whining or crying. In 2016 Trump won. Hillary Clinton didn't whine. She conceded like a true American. But then in 2020 something happened. For the first time in our history, a presidential nominee who lost, Donald Trump, refused to concede. He cried, caused an insurrection, and had to be dragged out of the White House by his cankles. Cut to 2024. Trump wins. Again, no whining by Kamala Harris. She concedes like a true American. Now we're 16 days from midterms. And Donald is whining already. Blaming illegals, ID laws, mail-in-ballots, voting machines, dead people, Antifa, and socialists. He's right. We do have a rigging problem. It's called Donald Trump. Our system worked great for every election at every level for 250 years... Until jelly donut took office.

The good worker trope falls apart when the world changes fast. It becomes a hindrance when job security wavers. And it doesn’t really pay off when AI and the atomization of work mean that most of us are the boss now, even if we are on a payroll. p.feedblitz.com/r3.asp?l=568…
