After a very intense last week we managed to release today a SARS-CoV-2(#COVID19) recommendation web app. The main goals are to inform people if they have to look for medical help and to support doctors’ decisions onsite.

#CharitéBerlin und Data4Life haben die CovApp entwickelt. Mit der App sollen die Prozesse in der Charité-Untersuchungsstelle weiter verbessert und Patienten und Mitarbeiter geschützt werden. charite.de/service/pressemit… #SARSCoV2

Please no, not referee wearing pink against Italy’s blue again @UEFA!
It's so frustrating what the @webkit team did with localStorage and IndexedDB APIs for Safari 14.1!
My team and I discovered that the most reliable workaround was to open a dummy IndexedDB first.
⚠️ That still fails with WKWebView and works only with SFSafariViewController.
Ran into a spectacularly awful Safari bug in the latest Safari (14.1.1 on macOS and iOS 14.6).
Opening an IndexedDB database fails 100% of the time on the first try. 😩
If you refresh, it starts working.

I wasn't aware that there was a proposal to replace HTML, CSS and JavaScript with just one language 😳
@hdv perfectly summarizes why the separation is important and benefits web users!
