The difference toxic and healthy.
“I would kill for you.” “I would die for you.” Yeah, well, I would heal for you. I’d unlearn my toxic patterns, face my wounds, and become a healthier person so my love doesn’t hurt you.

How the men were trying to find a reason why Lucy wasn't there, and Nyla instantly went to every womens worst fear and rang that bell.

Day 1 of @CityDropCon and wow, what an experience! I didn't think it was possible that anyone stole the #1 spot for my favorite #MotherlandFortSalem convention but they went and did it. I cannot wait for day 2!

you always thought there was something wrong with you because you don’t feel things the way other people do. but she always felt that was what made you beautiful. she wanted you to know that if you were a shape, you’d be a straight line. an arrow.

I have friends who are 20 years older than me and when I was 19, one of my best friends was 35 and married with kids. We are still friends and I learned valuable lessons from her, not to mention she was extremely supportive.
i saw some discourse about “friendship age gaps” on tl? so i’ll just say: it’s not weird to have friends older than you in adulthood. having older friends is not a bad thing, you *should* have a diverse support system.

This is why I stopped interacting with some fandoms.
Worst experience ever is becoming a fan of something new and learning the fanbase is insufferable

having a friend who fully loves you, supports you, and sees you for who you truly are is one of the most comforting feelings ever. someone who accepts your flaws, celebrates your little wins, listens without judging, and reminds you of your worth when you forget it yourself. there’s something so special about being loved without having to pretend, explain every little thing, or earn your place in someone’s life. a friendship like that makes the world feel softer, safer, and a little less lonely.

Them: Why are autistic people depressed so often? Autistic Person: Imagine spending your whole life being misunderstood… and then being told *you’re* the communication problem. Them: That sounds lonely. Autistic Person: It is.

Being in a relationship means you must love someone the way they need you to, not just in the way that is comfortable for you. Because it's a reminder that love is not only about what I prefer giving, it's also about how the other person actually receives it. Real love takes effort, emotional maturity, and the willingness to meet each other halfway, not just show up when it feels easy.
What's the hardest lesson you've learned?

Then suddenly they are the problem for not continuing to endure
When an anxiously attached person endures consistent neglect from an avoidant, it’s common that eventually they will crash out & lose their mind on the avoidant. After constantly having their nervous system dysregulated due to the avoidants refusal to participate in a healthy relationship dynamic, the anxiously attached person breaks down after carrying the weight of all the emotional labour alone. Crashing out is a stress response after intense neglect & having their nervous system go haywire.
