This is the diarrheal ward in a pediatric hospital in Peru.
I was there during the height of diarrhea season.
It was totally empty after being overflowing a few years before.
The difference?
The rotavirus vaccine.

can safely say that, as a cis woman, i have never ever felt threatened by or unsafe around a trans women. i do, however, feel unsafe around men most days! hope this helps :)
