You’re learning what to do in a new role, at a new company, and maybe even in a new city. It will take time to fully adjust, so be patient, stay focused, and be confident in your abilitiies to succeed! What was most useful at UMD? The QUEST Honors Program prepared me with how to communicate with others. Even as an engineer, I find myself interacting with many different stakeholders on a daily basis. The ability to effectively express my ideas to others is something that I practiced a lot in QUEST, so the fact that I am able to utilize this skill so often in my job now is a true testament to how beneficial the program was to my career
