300+ events in 2 years. I outgrew my network, so I went where the people I needed already were. Started at Lagos Tech Fest 2024 with 2 goals: expand my network, get a job. 10–15 events monthly. It took 18 months but built real leverage

I started @GO54_hq (Whogohost) in my first year at OAU.
Then @Jobbermandotcom (Jobberman), with 2 of my friends and built it to 50,000 users before graduating. At NYSC camp, investors came knocking with a $1M offer.
The journey taught me a lot about building, partnerships, fundraising, and solving real problems.
I shared some of these lessons, what we're building with .CV, and my thoughts on entrepreneurship in the age of AI on The Builders Podcast.

At TeXcellence 5.0, CWG Plc explored what Africa needs to scale its digital future: stronger infrastructure, local expertise, enterprise AI, talent development and intellectual property so African businesses and creators capture more value. Adoption alone is not enough in Africa.
Your 20s are your building years.
Build the skill. Build the experience. Build the relationships. Build the character.
Chase clarity before capital. Your first version may be messy. Build anyway. Learn. Adjust. Build again.
The reward may not come immediately. Keep building.

I said this last year! The biggest issue with our productivity is that the middle management layer is very thin. Those who should have been training up the next generation left, and rightly so, so now what you have is an overworked top, undervalued bottom, and a torn middle.

At #AfricaSMEAssembly, I joined “Why Investors Say No” to discuss SME due diligence. Ambition isn’t enough: investors need sound numbers, governance, documentation and evidence of demand. Investment readiness starts long before the pitch, building confidence and scale.
