I wrote last year about the KOR Protocol (xitter.cf/quantstrader/status/18…), the teams' mission, their thesis and work on integrating AI, and their focus on building for the community. Excited to see KOR launching DePIN with Starlings Network and leveraging Pixelynx's growing suite of AI music Apps.
This team understands deeply the impact a properly integrated decentralised network will have for creators and all their intellectual property! ....and KOR's focus on community inclusion in the future economy for Intellectual Property is amazing 💥🚀
1/ The future of music is being shaped by advancements in the applications of blockchain and AI technologies. These innovations promise to tackle long-standing challenges and unlock new opportunities for musicians, artists, and creators.
Blockhain enhances transparency and efficiency, while AI can provide sophisticated tools for insights and creativity.
I recently had a catch up with a team that is taking a very interesting approach to shake up the music industry, aiming to create a dynamic, fair, and an artist friendly future with enhanced experiences for fans.
Let's set the overall industry framework first..

one might posit an unprecedented statistical phenomenon indicative of a combination of extraordinary proliferation of civic engagement and democratic enthusiasm
maybe quantum votes...qubit votes in superposition states?
the plausibility of these is reasonably aligned w/the statistical nature of the anomaly...

ya, so 2020 basically reflects that the votes were up ~21% compared to '16. The largest growth prior to that as from '04 to '08 with an increase of ~8 mill votes; '20 surpasses this by over 50%!
This is z score for '20 of above 2. That's more than 2 std deviations above the mean Democratic vote count across other years. That is like being struck by lightning and surviving...
And if we run some v basic back of the napkin numbers like a variability calc (anova) we see a high f ratio which reflects that the variance between prior years and '20 and now '24 (even though not yet final) is larger than we'd expect by random chance alone...
also w/'24 looking like it's returning to the Democrat historical trend, this is further evidence of an outlier in '20 and a deviation rather than a part of some trend or even the result of the Covid and related policies effects...
maybe in Jan @realDonaldTrump assigns a small team to dig a bit to deconstruct what happened, the specific processes, and ensure we establish best practices, guards and protections for the future... process optimisation @elonmusk

Stop watching and listening to the polls…watch the markets!

15/ As an amateur musician myself, I find the fusion of AI and blockchain solutions for music and musicians and everyone who loves music incredibly exciting.
This technology promises a brighter, more equitable future for all artists and fans.
"Tomorrow belongs to those who can hear it coming."
14/ Looking forward, there are a wealth of opportunities for innovation and growth in the music industry for all participants - creators, distributors, solutions providers, and the fans.
Teams like @KorProtocol, @KORUS_AI, and @pixelynx_io are at the forefront, developing cutting-edge solutions and forging key partnerships to drive this evolution.
By focusing on continuous innovation and collaboration, the music industry can look forward to a more dynamic, fair, artist-friendly future. Fans will especially benefit from these advancements, enjoying more interactive and personalised experiences, a closer connection to their favourite artists as well as expanded investment opportunities in the artists and their works.
13/ Key Players: Multiple companies are leading the way in implementing these solutions. Notably, from my latest catch up with the teams at @KorProtocol, @KORUS_AI and @pixelynx_io, I believe they are at the forefront. At the forefront of ideas, approach, product suite, and partnerships ecosystem that they are building.
Founded by individuals with deep roots in the music industry, these innovators (@inderphull22) understand the unique challenges musicians and creators face. They are leveraging their background and expertise to develop solutions that harness the power of AI and blockchain to benefit artists and music creators.
In a recent discussion, @inderphull22 shared that his team continues to forge partnerships with like minded innovators who share the ethos of collaboration, transparency, and are committed to artist empowerment and enhancing fan engagement.
They are partnering with other solution providers (like @blackmirror_xp, @NianticLabs, @solana) to create a best-of-breed technology stack to integrate with their music technology solutions, and are working closely with industry veterans in music and web3 (including @animocabrands, @beatport, @Moca_Network), major labels, and artists to ensure their offerings are practical and effective. By fostering these partnerships, they are paving the way for a more efficient, transparent, and artist-friendly music ecosystem.
12/ Ongoing research and development will be essential to continue to refine these technologies and how they are being applied. As the landscape evolves, new entrants and their solutions are poised to lead the charge in addressing and solving the most pressing issues. These innovators will need to bring a deep understanding of the challenges faced by the industry.
The leaders will also be the ones who recognise that ti achieve their goals, they must collaborate with established industry players, as well as other entrants into the music industry.
Continuous innovation must be accompanied by an inclusive approach that considers the needs of all stakeholders, enabling entrants to identify their roles, their products' fit, and target audiences effectively.
By fostering a collaborative environment, the innovators can ensure that their offerings provide practical, viable solutions that enhance the way music produced, distributed, and consumed.
11/ Policy and Legal Frameworks - Of course, it's essential the solutions and the teams launching them adhere to existing legal frameworks and regulations to ensure the legitimate adoption of their AI and blockchain technologies.
However, nascent and disruptive technologies often require evolving legal frameworks to keep pace with their rapid development. The music industry will not be an exception. Developing further legal clarity and evolving the frameworks is crucial to facilitate the integration of these technologies.
Policy changes at national and international levels are needed to support these emerging technologies and to address the unique challenges they present. For example smart contract legality, updates to copyright laws, data privacy regulations to harmonise data privacy regulations, etc.
The clear winners in this space will be those who can navigate existing regulations and legal frameworks to launch their solutions and business models successfully.
These innovators will also play a key role in collaborating with industry partners and policymakers to evolve the regulatory landscape, paving the way for more advanced features and capabilities in their own offerings.
This dual approach of compliance and proactive evolution will ensure that teams implementing AI and blockchain solutions can fully realise their potential in transforming the music industry and growing their offerings.
10/ Empowering Creators - These technologies can empower artists by providing them greater control over their work, enhancing their creative freedom, and ensuring fair compensation. They enable direct transactions between artists and fans, and reduce their reliance on intermediaries.
