Is only my broker gay or the gay locate prices just standard across all brokers?

Small caps are soo cooked. Cyclical many say. There is nothing cyclical about locates anymore. Barely getting much plays now that have range, the ones we do get, insanely priced locates. Over 10-15% of the price of stock. Small caps are really loosing their EV

need to get better. Para growth has stopped since August. Taking on new project and get back into some coding again. Going to start working on a earnings strategy and some long term investment strategies

small caps already dead like OTC. China caps were the only ones left. Looks like even they are dead.

Final straw. I think it gets easier from here but no more PM shorting for me. Almost got wiped out, and had I not held, would have lost my account and had to refund. Have fun shorting PM folks

Shorts seriously need to stop paying these outrageous locates prices. The brokers keep upping the threshold and eventually risk to reward just doesn’t exist

Left India as a kid and returned to India after 20 years. I see so much tremendous potential in India and its people. Everyone omega hard working and doing whatever they can to feed families and make a living. But India without systems and processes in place and without changing mindset of the population can never achieve greatness. High time India learns from China and what they did to fix their country and adopts those models. Let’s just start with social credit score for starters

Only took a month to adapt. Slow af month but optimizations made in August, prevented any major drawdown and as soon as market presented some plays I was quick to make something and not focus on drawdown recovery.

And today also red. Slow market isnt for me. Small cuts everyday. Hopefully post today some better action to recover losses. Loss still in control and its just 1 ok green day. But frustrating regardless

12 trading days this month so far. 10 red days, 2 green days. Market gods have mercy, this is beyond peak pain

losses after losses. I have sized down a ton. First time in a while questioning my ability to trade. Reset my account to small one, yet account draining in locate fees like crazy. IVF reclaim got me in pm, had to cut and then there just werent any decent locates available to reenter thus forcing me to eat a loser which could have been a mega winner rth. All these factors have affected my EV and i right now have 0 counter to this. Just eating the drawdown and hoping i can recover something this month. So far by the looks of it, I dont expect any easy conditions for small cap short sellers anytime soon. I am seeing many traders manage to keep their accounts intact, just steady drawdown. There hasnt been any nasty blow ups, so currently its just a slow bleed for many shorts.
