Sometimes I wonder what evil I must have committed in a previous life. It goes beyond X - in real life i've always been ignored and "surprised" people afterwards - just because I don't follow the norms of being a loud person as a default. I see hype posters doing 50 a day, ragebaiters, extreme racists, sexists, and general closed minded bigots continue to thrive on this platform. Hence why I pulled back and will continue to do so over time. Then I saw a quote and it brought some peace: "If you want to improve, be content to be thought foolish and stupid with regards to external things. Don't wish to be thought to know anything; and even if you appear to be somebody important to others, distrust yourself. For it is difficult to both keep your faculty of choice in a state conformable with nature, and the same time acquire external things." - Epictetus This is still a work in progress for me, as I am still learning and am not perfect (not even close). Time spent here is self sabotage. This is me venting, or maybe something I need to bookmark to constantly remind myself.
