Darlington Football Club can confirm that Steve Watson has left his role as First Team Manager with immediate effect.
The decision was reached by mutual agreement between the Darlington FC directors and Steve following discussions over the past few days.
We would like to thank Steve for his dedication, commitment and hard work during his time at Blackwell Meadows.
Terry Mitchell will take charge of the team as Caretaker Manager while the Club begins the process of appointing a new First Team Manager.

Hat-trick by Martin against his old club. Another goal by Hopson to register our biggest win of the season. Get in!

Darlington won 2-1 at Hartlepool United 30 years ago today with @glenn_naylor and Michael Oliver scoring our goals. Defender John McClelland broke his leg on his debut aged 40.
