$TSLA has to be one of the best-looking charts in the market right now.
It has basically been straight up since putting in that higher timeframe bottom around $300.
The gap has now been filled, and price has reclaimed the daily Ichimoku cloud.
To me, this is all systems go.
I would not be surprised at all to see $TSLA trading north of $500 by EOY.
I know they claim to primarily be an AI and robotics company now, but the car business is absolutely on fire as well.
Hard to ignore how strong the core business looks while the AI, autonomy, and robotics optionality continues to build on top of it.

Gas-powered cars are now under 50% of global new-vehicle sales:
First time ever.
Share sits at 49%, down from 73% in 2021, according to Mobility Global Data.
Here in the U.S., we're seeing a slightly different situation, with gas cars regaining some traction after federal incentives went away.
But wild to see a first like that globally.

Tesla FSD prevented another accident!
This is amazing life-changing technology.
I’m so glad to have it keeping me safe.
Delayed Karma is better than no Karma.
This this this! It boils down to can who can continue to have negative margins in the future. Once Teslas ramps and is out of the negative free cash flow phase, Uber is most likely going to be breakeven if not negative FCF. At that point it’s only a matter of time before busting.
The one thing I never hear from the $UBER bulls is how they will compete given Tesla’s unit economics advantage.
Cybercab will be lower cost to manufacture, lower cost to operate, and also offers a better customer experience with the interior of the cab. This will directly translate to the lowest cost to operate, and therefore to the lowest customer price per mile.
So while I acknowledge the value of Uber’s network and accomplishments to date, I can’t see them competing profitably under any reasonable set of scenarios.
And the moat of their network strikes me as extremely fragile. It wasn’t long ago that most Uber drivers I spoke with also drove for Lyft, and they would take rides from whichever platform gave them the best earnings profile, often switching multiple times throughout a single day. As a consumer I did the same, until somewhat recently as Uber pulled away.
If I’m a rider needing to choose between Uber and a Tesla Robotaxi, it’s true that I’m more familiar with the Uber and at least initially theres likely to be some stasis that prevents an immediate switch. But at sone point, all I will have to do is download the Robotaxi app and see that my rides are meaningfully cheaper with this option.
So I’ll give it a whirl, and then I’ll realize that on top of being cheaper, it’s also more comfortable, more private, and an overall superior customer experience.
Uber does have its advantages in this fight, but they are not durable advantages.
💯 it’s like asking automobile manufacturers to stop making cars because it’s hurting their horse sales back in the day.
Like we keep saying, there are few critical disengagement situations but these roadway gates and pillars are absolutely some of them that are still inconsistent on even the newer FSD builds. @Tesla_AI @robotaxi, FSD is phenomenal but far from perfect.
Large tumors on a car look safer to the average person. 🙃
I’ve seen several people comment on how smooth the Cybercab rides versus a Waymo.
This is the difference between an autonomous vehicle that has a brain and able to anticipate events, versus one that is simply reactionary while looking like it has a bunch of large tumors growing on it (aka LiDAR equipment).
For maximum safety, every millisecond matters. Being reactionary is not enough for a smooth ride and it is definitely not enough for the safest ride.
One of the most important FSD updates in FSD history. Honestly, this was the real “new” news that happened after the cybercab launch date imo.
FSD Supervised v14.3.9 starting to roll out shortly
This release includes a new active safety feature set: FSD Supervised can now activate on your behalf when an imminent collision is detected and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) may not be enough.
It may also engage if we detect you’re heavily distracted or have accidentally disengaged FSD
