Agent steps now sit in a Task next to your code steps. It's like looping a researcher into the middle of a deterministic Task. The agent digs through the tools and data you give it, judges what it finds against the threshold you set, and hands control back to the Task once it's done. There are seven new connectors too, including Zendesk, Snowflake and NetSuite. GitHub now covers issues, pull requests, branches and checks, and Google Drive can copy a Google Docs template and fill its placeholder fields. Tasks also get multiple schedules with inputs per schedule, large file uploads, and better logging and token usage visibility. Full release notes: qbash.com/blog/release-notes…

Quick tutorial connecting qbash MCP servers to Grokbot. Use these to share memories across users/sessions, distribute otherwise unavailable connectors or share deterministic AI tasks with a team spread across Grokbot, Muse, Codex, Claude, etc: youtu.be/i4emsHOFraQ

We built a qbash Task to match company names from call transcripts to our database. Compared Jev and OpenAI's Decisions API. Full catalog first. Then phonetic encoding to narrow the options. Estimated model cost down ~84%. Small accuracy tradeoff.

Quick demo using Jev inside of a @qbashdev Task. This is an easy way to use Jev for classification and other models (ie Astra, Fable, Sol) for other parts of the flow - without having to build your own bindings on infra. qbash.com/blog/use-jev-with-…

Feelings this week: Sol 5.6 > Sol 6 Opus 5.5 is the best since 4.6. I finally upgraded. Jev seems cool. If anything it pushes people to seeing models as tools - and sophisticated flows use different tools.

I’m testing small @typesafeai Jev × @qbashdev Task ideas. Which one should I try first?

More mail-merge magic, this time with fillable PDFs. Starting with a list of 20 customers, we fill out the same pdf for each, then zip them for download.

Well... Yesterday was a big afternoon for model releases. Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Sol & Luna are now available on qbash. Try them in playgrounds, and with your existing tasks today.

Jev from @typesafeai feels very much in the spirit of what we’re building at @qbashdev. Small pieces of AI judgment inside processes we can understand. Seems like the right idea, given the doom and all.

Research Reddit with Qbash tasks. If you like the AI Ticker component of our newsletter you can see how it is made. One daily task researches reddit for sentiment and news before another summarizes for our internal team and newsletters.

My @qbashdev tasks work in Codex, too. In this demo, Codex uses MCP to run my changelog and news tasks, read past newsletters, and put together a draft. The tasks still run on qbash. Codex calls them. Apologies for the sound. My neighbour thought it was a great idea to drill into concrete all day :)

We see deterministic tasks as enabling a new type or third rail of the application that is being developed. Thought it would be fun to share one of our internal strategy decks on the pivot and what we've learned having been iterated on what is now called @qbashdev for the last 2.5 years. qbash.com/blog/the-strategy-…

How do you know AI-written code actually works? Make it write the tests first. Alex builds a Task using AI with test-driven development (that's TDD for the SDLC folks).

GPT-6 Astra is now in qbash. Test it against your current model before switching, and watch the pricing jump above 272K input tokens. Plus: four new Task walkthroughs, from model testing to Slack-to-Asana triage: qbash.com/blog/release-notes…

Triaging our busiest Slack channel into Asana tickets we could act on was a Monday morning job for whoever had the time. So Jack built a Task to do it for us, reading Slack, Asana and GitHub together so status updates come from what actually shipped instead of who remembered to post about it.
