Modi, as PM, is an embarrassment to India.
Never has this country seen a bigger coward and bully.

#India: We are concerned by reports of mass detentions of demonstrators, protest leaders, members of civil society organisations, lawyers and journalists, before and during today’s large-scale demonstrations in Delhi.
We call on the authorities to ensure that the right to peaceful assembly is fully respected and fulfilled.

Suddenly, the government has drones, facial scanning, high-tech surveillance and an extremely heavy police presence to suppress protesters But where is all this when it comes to women's safety??

I used GPT-6 Astra to break an unsolved cipher to one of Napoleon's generals that had gone unread for 217 years.
What makes this impressive isn't actually the codebreaking, but that Astra completed the entire multi-modal workflow in ~6 hours from a single image and goal.
1/6🧵
I got access to Dots today. So far, it’s done all of this for me:
- Checked in my wife and daughter’s flights for tomorrow
- transferred my available paypal balance to my bank
- learned how to take screenshots of some analytics I have to provide and auto-reply to emails with that screenshot
- helped me sort a massive spreadsheet
- learned how to provide an executive summary of specific emails I get with things I have to do
All of that in a few hours.
Love it so far. Now I need it to work on my Linux laptop.

🚨 Codex Plus users!!! GPT-6.1 Sol's XHIGH tier is straight-up wild
> Almost 2 hours of use and I've barely touched 15% of my 5-hour cap
> Basically feels unlimited right now
> Performance sits right up near Astra's level
> Costs roughly a fifth of what Astra runs on the API
> Handles coding and agent tasks with ease
> Weekly quota holding steady too, about 8% gone, ~10.36M tokens in
How's your GPT-6.1 usage holding up so far?

TIBO WASNT LYING PEOPPE
WTF? GPT 6.1 Sol High is so usage efficient
It has been running for 1.5 hrs now and only consumed 15% of my usage and I am on plus that is incredibly efficient
This means in pro plans it must be almost infinite
CRAZY
Vishnu retweeted
Indeed! Sol 6.1 Is As Good As Astra On Benchmarks
Plus, it is 5x cheaper!!
OpenAI is totally back in less than a week

GPT-6.1 Sol is now my default model.
Not only is it the best coding model, it’s also the cheapest and fastest!
See how it moggs opus 5.5 for example by being 5x cheaper

When I made this video, there were no benchmarks yet, so I had to run them myself. Jaw dropped when I saw the Terminal Bench 4 scores.
Performance better than Opus 5.5 for ~1/30th of the price 🤯

Updated run just finished. GPT-6.1 Sol still crushes. Turns out it performs WAY better in Codex than in mini-swe (what Artificial Analysis uses)

Sol 6.1 is a great model and an incredible value. Is it as good as Opus 5.5?
we found opus 5.5 to be 2X as efficient as gpt-6-sol in our internal cfo.ai evals so i was not expecting 6.1-sol to improve on that much
but to see it 3X the efficiency of opus 5.5 and 2.5X against even sonnet 5.5 is actually 🤯
this is an insane point release
Vishnu retweeted
In our internal knowledge work evals, GPT 6.1 Sol is the best model we've tested.
It completed more of the work independently than Claude Opus 5.5, at 40% of the cost and nearly twice the speed, and led in every industry we measured.

On this OpenAI demo day it became very clear how OpenAI vs Anthropic’s strategy is very different:
OpenAI: spend $$$/month/dev with us. Choose to spend it on our models or 3rd parties, our tools or a long list of standout AI vendors. Your choice!
Anthropic: spend $$$/month/dev with us; use our models and our tools. Forget using them w third parties.
