The 14th Circuit placed Judge Josephine Barron on restricted duty, limiting her to warrant motions and procedural busywork while investigators dig into her finances.
“The court wants to know if she’s on someone’s payroll,” said Chief Clerk Jon Raebro. “Activism from the bench has consequences.”
Barron is the third judge this month to face disciplinary action for political interference.
The judiciary is finally cleaning house.
